config igmp_snooping querier

last_member_query_interval <sec 1-25>

The maximum amount of

time between group-specific query messages, including those sent in
response to leave-group messages. Users may lower this interval to
reduce the amount of time it takes a router to detect the loss of the
last member of a group.

state [enable | disable]

Allows the Switch to be specified as an

IGMP Querier or Non-querier.

Restrictions Only

administrator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To configure IGMP snooping:

Purpose

Used to configure ports as router ports.

Syntax

config router_ports <vlan_name 32> [add | delete] <portlist>

Description

This command allows designation of a range of ports as being
connected to multicast-enabled routers. This will ensure that all
packets with such a router as its destination will reach the multicast-
enabled router

regardless of protocol, etc.

Parameters

add | delete –

Specify whether to add or delete ports as router ports.

<vlan_name 32>

The name of the VLAN on which the router port

resides.

<portlist>

−

Specifies a port or range of ports that will be configured as

router ports.

Restrictions Only

administrator-level users can issue this command.

Example usage:

To set up static router ports:
