Boot Options

FX3 provides several booting options. The boot option is determined by the FX3 PMODE[2:0] input
pins. These PMODE[2:0] pins are configured using combination of Jumpers (J98, J97, and J96) and

dip switch SW25. For I

C and SPI boot options additional jumpers (J42, J45, J101, J102, J103, and

J104) and a dip switch (SW40) needs to be configured.

Figure 3-7

summarizes the PCB areas that implement different boot options.
