Example 1: Blinking LED and push button

The

first_app.c

code blinks an LED attached to a GPIO (General-Purpose IO) pin and reads the

state of a GPIO input pin, printing its state on a Windows terminal whenever the state changes. To
see the results of this application, prepare the small circuit shown in

Figure 2-14

. A small perf-board

with a 0.1 inch header is a convenient way to build this circuit as shown in

Figure 2-15
