Mobile Device NOT in Range

If the mobile device leaves the range of the Home Wi-Fi network:

The ProGuardian App will NOT receive seizure notifications. (Notifications will only occur at the
Hub.)

The ProGuardian App will provide an audible notification and display a message that it is not in
range.

If the Hub volume is muted, the audio will be restored until the mobile device reconnects with
the home Wi-Fi.

The connection status between the Hub and Sensor will be displayed as unknown (gray bar) on
the mobile device.

12.4.

Adjusting Your Mobile Device Sound Settings

Cyberonics recommends that your mobile device sound is ALWAYS enabled (turned on) while using the
ProGuardian App.

Note:

Switching a phone to vibrate mode will prevent an audio seizure notification, even if the

ProGuardian App setting menu is set to ON.
