8.4
Cleaning the CLS
This section describes the cleaning work that should be done by the operator as required depend-
ing on the installation site:
• Cleaning the housing and outer parts of the CLS
• Emptying and cleaning the dust tray
Please contact your service technician for further cleaning routines.
8.4.1
Cleaning the housing, coin input funnel and return tray
For cleaning work on the coin recycler please observe the following safety
instructions:
• Please only clean the components mentioned in this section. All other CLS
parts may only be cleaned by a qualified service technician.
• Pull out the machine’s mains plug when cleaning the CLS.
• Moisten cloths only slightly to prevent fluid from entering the device. This
would damage the PCBs and optics.
• Do not use solvents or scouring agents that could affect the surface of the
device.
• Do not reconnect the equipment if the connecting cables show any damages
or material fatigue (e.g. porous cables).

use compressed air or a slightly moistened cleaning tissues.
