7.3

Opening and closing the coin acceptance unit

The coin acceptance unit consists of an upper and a lower layer. The upper layer can be opened using
a bayonet mount to eliminate a jam for instance The bayonet mount indication is green

when it is properly closed. To disconnect the mount:

Open the lid

(cf. Chap. "7.2 Opening and closing the CLS lid", p. 26)

Carefully lift the arm

] of the coin validator.

Press the green lever

[

] of the bayonet mount.

Keep the lever pressed and turn bayonet mount

[

] counter-clockwise as far as it

will

go.

The bayonet mount indication is no longer green but red

Open up upper acceptance unit as far as it will go.

Close in reverse order and make sure that bayonet mount indication is green again.
