Instrument Calibration
Introduction
You can view or change the settings of the instrument according to the
access level for each parameter as set by the manufacturer. There are four
levels of access to the parameters as follows:
•
Not visible
- you cannot display or edit the parameter.
•
Display Only
- you can display the parameter, but you cannot change the
setting.
•
Programmable
- you can change the setting of the parameter in
Calibration Set mode.
•
Password protected
- you can change the setting of the parameter in
Calibration Set mode only if you enter the correct password.
Note:
When you enter Calibration Set mode, the instrument requests you to
enter a password. Any value will allow to change the settings of the
“programmable” parameters, but the correct password must be
entered to change the password-protected parameters.
Calibration View Mode
Use the following procedure to view the calibration settings of the
instrument:
1.
Press
to scroll to the
CAL MENU
prompt.
2.
Hold the
key.
The instrument beeps once, illuminates the
Cal
indicator and shows
CAL
on the display panel.
•
Press
to scroll through the flashing menu headings.
•
Press
to scroll through submenu items.
•
Press
to return to the main calibration menu.
3.
To exit from the Calibration View mode, press
to scroll to the
END
option and press
.
The instrument returns to Normal Operation mode.
