Inputs

Analog Input Connections

All analog inputs can accept DC signals ranging from 0-5V, 1-5V and
current signals from 4 to 20mA.

Analog Inputs 1 and 2 (AINP1 / AINP2) can also accept an RTD input
(PT100 or PT500) as well as the standard 0-5V, 1-5V and 4 to 20mA input.

CAUTION

Applying levels of input current above the absolute maximum

rating (100mA) may cause permanent damage to the input

circuitry.

For externally powered voltage transmitters, connect each transmitter to a
pair of input terminals as shown in Figure 4. Refer to

Terminal

Designations

on page 12 for specific terminal numbers for this application.
