2 Functions and Wireless Link Mode

MAC address filtering
This function enables connection of only the terminals whose MAC address has been registered.
Data encryption
This function encrypts wireless data. For encryption, two security protocols are available: WSL
(Wireless Security Link: proprietary cryptography) and WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy). WSL and
WEP can be used at the same time. Note, however, that devices using WSL and those not using it cannot
communication with each other.
IEEE802.1x(EAP-TLS)
This function performs authentication using digital certificates. After authentication, the AP
dynamically broadcasts the WEP key.
The function of IEEE 802.1X cannot be used when the unit type of the AP is “station”.
