2. Setup

AD12-8(PM)

PC Card Configuration Settings

On Windows NT, you need to use PC card configuration utility to allocate the PC card resources. The

PC card configuration utility uses the PCMCIA.SYS function. Note that this cannot be used if another

driver is controlling the PC card slot.

(1) From the "Start" menu, run "Programs" - "CONTEC API-PAC(W32)" - "PCMCIA Configuration".

(2) From "Add PC Card", select AD12-8(PM).

(3) Reboot the PC.

(4) Restart the PC card configuration utility and check that the card and resources appear correctly in

"System check complete"

CAUTION

If I/O does not work correctly when checked using the diagnosis program, double click on the PC

card and specify the resource settings manually.

If the interrupt conflicts with another device, set the interrupt mask.

You have now finished installing the hardware.
