Calibration
This controller is provided with both a normal automatic calibration and a
special rapid shift procedure. This is of considerable benefit for those
cases where it is not so easy to remove the cells for a normal calibration.
While the usual cell constant determination is normally made during an
important maintenance, when the cells have to be removed anyway, a
daily calibration can be performed without removing the cells from their
fittings. The latter requires only an extra portable meter to measure the
real conductivity or °C values of the processed liquid, whereafter these
values are introduced into the controller for a rapid automatic calibration
(shift).
Note that not only the conductivity ranges but also the °C
ranges can be calibrated with this rapid procedure!
