4.4 HTTP (Web Server) Interface
A user-supplied web browser allows the full M&C of the LPOD through its HTTP
Interface. This embedded web application is designed for use with Microsoft’s
Internet Explorer Version 5.5 or higher. It is a non-secure web application.
4.4.1 Enable the HTTP Interface

Follow these steps to enable the HTTP Interface in the LPOD using only a
100BaseTx remote interface (this assumes that you are running a Microsoft
Windows OS):
See Figure 4-4 and do these steps:
1. Select Start , then Run , then type “ cmd ” to open the Windows Command-
line window.
2. Type “ Telnet 192.68.1.4 ” to start a Telnet session with the unit using the
default Management IP address.
