IGMP/MLD Snooping
IGMP is the protocol used by IPv4 systems to report their IP multicast group memberships to
neighboring multicast routers. To handle multicast management on IPv6 networks, Multicast
Listener Discovery (MLD) is used in a similar way by IPv6 systems.
With the switch supporting IP multicast, you can enable IGMP/MLD protocol via this interface.
Destination IP multicast addresses range from 224.0.0.0 to 239.255.255.255.
