ACP-145 Gateway Installation and Administration Manual

/cpe/cp-145/adm/004 (07/14)

This window is used to configure if virus checking is to be performed on

incoming messages. For example, if a message arrives and contains an

attachment that has a virus the message will be rejected by the system in

accordance with the action selected.

Scanning Files:

This field defines if the CP-145(F) will scan incoming

messages for a virus. This setting can be either turned

OFF.

scanning is turned on the

Test Scanning

button will become selectable.

Before scanning files a user must set their environment path variable.

Action to take on virus detection:

This field allows the user to have the

rejected message either sent back to the originator or allow the message to

path through the system without the infected attachment.



Select the

button to save the usernames and return to the CP-145

Configuration Utility main window. The changes are not permanently

saved to the appropriate configuration database table or file until

Install

is selected from the File Menu.



Select the

Cancel

button to exit this window without saving changes.

When the

button is selected in the CP-145 Configuration Utility

main window the

SMIME Security

window is displayed. This window

consists of three separate tabs: Trust Point Certificate Files, Gateway

Certificate, and Security Tables.
