Chapter 5. ACP-145 Gateway Configuration Utility

Map:

 If the action is set to Map, then the Message Type value that 

exists in the Add/Map Value field will take the place of the existing 

value in the message.  

 

Reject/NDN:

 If the action is set to Reject/NDN, and the message 

contains the associated Message Type value, the message will be 

NDN’d back to the originator. 

 

Add/Map Value:

 This field defines the Message Type value to be 

used if the action is either Add or Map. Only integers should be 

entered in this field. 

 

NOTE

: When entering Message Type translation rules, the system will not 

allow two rules to be configured that would conflict with each 

other. For each Security OID and Precedence value, there can 

only be one action defined in this table.

Network Access 

When the 

Network Access

 button is selected in the ACP-145 Configuration 

Utility main window the 

Network Access

 window is displayed: 

 

This window is provided to supply the system with the username, password 

and domain associated with the user account that will be used to access 

network assets, e.g., writing files to a backup ACP-145 Gateway system. 

NOTE

: ACP-145 Gateway has the capability to run without a Domain 

controller (i.e... it can run as a Workgroup). As a result, the existing Network 

Access configuration will be used for the source of the remote access 

Username and Password. These values must be identical for both ACP-145 

nodes. If running as a Workgroup the sys_flags file must reflect this prior to 

starting the ACP-145 Gateway (See Appendix A for sys_flags setup).  

Username:

 Enter the domain username that has been granted local 

administrator user rights and privileges. 

Password:

 Enter the password associated with the specified domain 

username.
