Configuration CCT 800 – trunk connection
The network connection to the VoIP server has to be configured for the 1st channel of the Gx-IAX card:
Interfaces > Gx-IAX > General Settings

In the fields
Username

, enter the appropriate data for the registration of the Gx-IAX
card on the VoIP server.
In the field
IAX Port
, enter the IAX default port “4569” (UDP).
In the field
Server IP Address
, enter the IP address of the VoIP server.
In the drop-down list
card poll time
, chose how often the Gx-IAX card checks if the VoIP server can
be reached.

DSCP
, enter
the bits for DSCP (Differentiated Services Code Point) Packet Marking. Value
range: “0” to “63” (e.g. “46” for “expedited forwarding”)

Card IP Address
, enter a fixed, unique IP address for each Gx-IAX card.

Subnet mask
, enter the subnet mask of the Gx-IAX card.

Router IP Address
, enter the IP address of the router (gateway) in the WAN.

is not supported.

MAC - Address
, the MAC address of the Gx-IAX card is displayed. It cannot be changed.

NOTE: Router IP address
A router IP address is required only if the VoIP server is in another subnet than the Gx-IAX card.
Therefore, the router’s IP address and the card IP address has to be in the same subnet.
ATTENTION: User name and password
Do not change the default settings (“10240 Kbit”) in the drop-down lists
Bandwidth Kbit
and
Databandwidth Kbit
. This means, do not configure any limitation.
