The following section gives a short overview of the basic features of a Gx-IAX card. On the subsequent
pages, the different features of the card are described in detail.

NOTES: Auto-dialler mode
The auto-dialler mode is used for transfer of calls, e.g. call requests or input messages (control desk
calls) to pre-defined call numbers within the VoIP network.
If an IAX channel is configured as central control desk, initiated calls are stored in the Gx-IAX card
(
see also “Call queuing – IAX channel as central control desk” on page 21
