NOTES: Installation of a G8-IAX to a GE 300
When using a GE 300 Intercom Server for the G8-IAX card, an interface housing GEI 300 is required
(one GEI 300 per GE 300; the GEI 300 offers place for two interface cards).
The interface housing GEI 300 is connected to the expansion plug of the GE 300, or, if an expansion
housing GEZ 300 is connected there, to the expansion plug of the GEZ 300.
With a GE 300, max. two G8-IAX cards can be used.
For the G8-IAX card, no installation board is required.
The G8-IAX card is connected to the network via the RJ45 jack “Uplink” of the GE 300 motherboard
G3-GEM.
NOTES: Installation of a G3-IAX to a GE 300
The G3-IAX card can be inserted in the slots “1” to “5” of the GE 300 and in the slots “6” to “10” of
the expansion housing GEZ 300 (max. 10 cards per GE 300 incl. GEZ 300).
The G3-IAX card has to be connected to the network via the RJ45 jack “Uplink” of the G3-GEM
motherboard.
