9.3.3
Output ALARM OUT
This output is designed especially for connection of external audio indication or telephone dialer.
Way its activation can be programmed in data logger configuration. Output is available both in
voltage version and as galvanically isolated relay contact.
Parameters of output ALARM OUT in activation:
approximately 4.8 in DC, maximum 50
mA
Parameters of inactivated output:
0V, no load allowed
Connection:
terminal Wago
Length of connection cable:
maximum 100 m, only at indoor
environment
Used relay
250 V AC/ 8A
Maximum connectable voltage on relay and current
24 V AC/ 1A
Galvanic isolation is not designed for safety function (not sufficient isolating distances).
The case of external audio indication is designed for wall mounting and the connection is by means
of connector CINCH (outer contact
–
GND, central pin
–
ALARM OUT).
9.3.4
Communication interface
Each data logger is equipped with interface RS232C, RS485 and USB. Ethernet interface is optional.
Communication interfaces are mutually connected internally and as one functional unit galvanically
isolated from other data logger circuitry. Communication with data logger is enabled only via one
selected interface. Status of other interfaces does not effect this communication (it is set on the
display of data logger v menu).
RS232C:
Used signals:
RxD, TxD, GND
RTS-CTS selectable from SW
Galvanic isolation:
electrical strength 500 V DC
Connector:
DSub 9 male, signals DTR-DSR are
connected
Maximum cable length:
15 m, only in indoor environment
RS485:
Input impedance:
approximately 12 k
Galvanic isolation:
electrical strength 500 V DC
Connection:
dual terminals
Maximum cable length:
1200 m in indoor environment
USB
Compatibility:
USB1.1. and USB 2.0
Connector:
USB type B
Vendor ID:
0403
Product ID:
6001
Ethernet
Compatibility:
10/100 MBit Ethernet, galvanic isolated
Connector:
RJ45
Galvanic isolation is not designed for safety function - protection against electrical current injury!
