7.6. Sharing of Display mode on several computers together with automatic storing of data on
network

Optional SW version is required

On the computer connected to data logger set in operation system After Start user program of MS
monitoring system.

Run program and in menu File
–
Options on bookmark Folder and data files enter path to server
where data will be stored.

At bookmark Display tick Run at program start and tick below Remote www access. Note specified
computer name or IP address.

At bookmark Automatic download select day and hour of data download, optionally other
selections and confirm window.

Check in menu Configuration- Communication settings, if automatic data download is allowed for
data logger
– "A" and “D” must be ticked next to data logger name (A as Active, D as
autoDownload). If not, tick it (by box checking or due to Edit button).

Restart the computer. A while after user MS program would run with Display mode.

Go over another computer and in internet browser to the Address filed enter computer name you
have noted before. You would see www pages with actual measured values.
If data logger is equipped with Ethernet interface, then www pages of data logger are accessible
without the need user PC program is running.
7.7. How to ensure alarm report, in case of power failure
Data logger can be set in the way relay of ALARM OUT output will be closed in the state without
alarm and will only open in the alarm state. Such inverse configuration can be set in advanced menu of the
SW. Then it is sufficient to back up with batteries only suitable alarm dialer (e.g. telephone dialer) and state
without power for data logger will correspond with alarm state, which causes alarm report to the user.
Description of setting is specified in Appendix No. 5.
7.8. Back-up of data logger configuration and its restoring
If there is a need to back up data logger configuration to the computer and have the possibility to
upload the configuration to the same or another data logger, read record from data logger. Stored file on
disk contains among others also complete configuration of data logger. If you use selection in menu

Reading configuration from file, you can display this configuration and store to the
connected data logger. If connected data logger has different serial number from numbers stored in file, this
number and some other items related to particular board will not be overwritten. The rest of configuration is
stored to the data logger.
7.9. How to set variable condition limit according to measured value on other channel?
Set up Type of input channel to Interchannel recalculation and assign another channels difference to it.
Set condition limit to zero for this channel. This function reduced number of useabled channels by one.
7.10. Can be confirmation of alarm signalization applied to acoustic alarm only?
Yes, it is possible for MS6 data logger with firmware version 6.3.0 and later. The settings are possible at the

7.11. It is possible to force confirmation of alarm signalization again after some time?
Yes, it is possible for MS6 data logger with firmware version 6.4.0 and later. The settings are possible at the

after which the alarm signalization is activated again, even if alarms have not changed. Use the latest
version of software.
