DIPPED HEADLIGHTS
SERVICE BRAKE – PARKING BRAKE
The machine is fitted with front headlights and rear tail-lights which
come on when the headlight command switch (18) on the control
panel is on “I” (
Fig.1
).
The machine has an electronic braking system. To brake in normal
conditions, just remove your foot from the accelerator pedal. If this
service brake is working badly, or if otherwise necessary, activate
the mechanical brake pedal (20) by pressing it downwards (
Fig.1
).
ATTENTION:
when the switch is on “I”, all the lights on the
machine are activated and the indicator light LED (19) is
activated on the control panel (
Fig.2
).
ATTENTION:
the lights are deactivated when the switch (18)
is on “0”.
ATTENTION
: to enable the parking brake, pull the lever (5)
near the seat (
Fig.2
). The red indicator light (6) will be
activated on the control panel (
Fig.3
).
ATTENTION
: if there is no oil in the braking system, the red
indicator light (21) will be activated on the control panel
(
Fig.3
). If this happens, contact a specialised Comac
technician as quickly as possible.
BUZZER
The machine is equipped with a buzzer. if you need to sound a
warning, just press the button (1) on the control panel (
Fig.1
).
RECOVERY TANK FLOAT
The machine is fitted with an electronic device (float) located inside
the recovery tank. When the tank is full, it activates the recovery tank
float indicator light (8) on the command display (
Fig.1
).
If this is the case, proceed as follows:
1. Using the switch on the control panel, select the “TRANSPORT”
program (A). The brush motors and solenoid valve will stop
working, and after a few seconds the brush head unit will lift up
from the floor. The squeegee will remain in contact with the floor
for a few seconds, to allow the drying to finish, after which it will lift
up off the floor. A few seconds after the squeegee has reached its
idle position, the vacuum motors will stop working; this is to allow
all the liquid in the vacuum tube to be suctioned off.
2. Bring the machine to the designated place for draining off the
dirty water, and empty the recovery tank (refer to “
