Maintenance
WARNING
Prior to any maintenance or inspection procedures to the E-CO
2
150, ensure
that the air supply and Dry Ice Blaster are powered down and the power
source is disconnected. Ensure that the air supply is closed, bled off and the
air supply hose is disconnected from the system.
WARNING
NEVER
perform any maintenance or attempt to open the E-CO
2
150 in
any way while it is pressurized. The violent release of compressed air and
propelled objects will cause serious injury or death.
Daily
y
Drain water out of the air filter before using the machine
y
Check the air and blast hoses for damage (ie: cuts or scuff marks)
Weekly
y
While in operation check the pressure gauge for damage
Monthly
y
Check nozzle to ensure the throat is not eroded. If the nozzle is 1/16 in (1.5 mm) larger in
diameter at the throat than when new it should be replaced.
Biannual
y
Check pneumatic air lines
y
Check the accessories
y
Check all valves
y
Safety test the unit
