WARNING
To ensure machine safety, use only original spare parts from Cold Jet or
approved by Cold Jet.
WARNING
The control air hose contains electrical connections. Do not immerse in water.
WARNING
Do not use the machine if a supply cord or important parts of the machine are
damaged, (e.g. safety devices, high pressure hoses, applicator).
WARNING
Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous when used with a blasting
machine. If an extension cord is used, it shall be suitable for the environment
in which it is used. If used outdoors the connection has to be kept dry and off
the ground. It is recommended that this is accomplished by means of a cord
reel which keeps the socket at least 2.4 inches (60 mm) above the ground.
WARNING
ALWAYS
switch off the main disconnecting switch, or unplug the blaster
power cord when leaving the system unattended. Shut off the main air supply.
WARNING
Abrasive blasting can create dust that may contain toxic materials from
abrasive material and the surface being blasted.
NEVER
use abrasives
containing high amounts of crystalline silica including silica sand/beach sand
and beryllium for abrasive blasting. Airborne crystalline silica causes silicosis, a
fatal respiratory disease. Abrasive blasting can create high levels of noise that
may cause hearing damage.
ALWAYS
use proper safety equipment including
respiratory protection, hearing protection, and comply with local regional and
national safety codes. Ensure all operators of the equipment are properly
trained and everyone in the area including bystanders are protected from the
hazards of abrasive blasting. The manufacturer, wholesaler and distributor
assume no responsibility arising from the failure to comply with this warning.
WARNING
Failure to read, understand & follow all safety and operation procedures
in this manual can cause serious injury or death. Manuals that are lost,
incomplete, or damaged must be replaced immediately.
WARNING
High pressure air and propelled abrasive coming from nozzle can cause
serious injury to people and damage equipment.
NEVER
point nozzle at people
or the blasting equipment.
