ATTACH END PANEL: NON-DOOR END
Gather the parts:
• Plain end panel (no door)
• LJ2842 (3/4" PVC conduit) and 103620E (1" strap)
• Fabric clips #CC6216 (divide quantity in half)
• Band clamps (#103856)
• Tube insert (#104075) & Tek screws (#FA4482B)
• Scissors, rope, tape measure, lift or ladders to reach
top of frame, and assistants to install and tighten strap
Install Plain End Panel
1. Unfold the plain end panel on the ground at the end
wall of the shelter and center it with the end wall.
2. Secure the panel bottom. If the base rails were installed
earlier and the panel is without a pocket, pull the
panel edge under the base rail, fold it up onto the top
surface of the base rail on the inside of the frame, and
secure the panel to the top of the base rail using evenly
spaced Tek screws. See the diagram below.
ATTENTION:
If a pocket exists at the bottom of the
panel, remove the base rails (if installed), insert each
rail into a pocket, and reattached to the frame.
If the base rails have not been installed, use the
Exploded End Wall Frame–Back diagram to construct
the rails (1.5" x 1.5" tube). Rails can then be inserted
into the panel pocket and secured to the frame.
Trim panel as needed to allow a proper fit around the
end wall frame.
3. With assistance, lift the end panel up and over the end
rafter and stretch it into position.
4. Fold the panel edges around the rafter pipe and secure
using Tek screws and half of the #CC6216 fabric clips.
Evenly space clips on the backside of the rafter.
NOTE:
Trim the end panel as needed to achieve the
best fit around pipes and base rail connections.
5. Connect two (2) sections of the PVC tubing, secure the
joint with PVC glue (customer-supplied) or a Tek screw.
Wrap the PVC joint with duct tape.
6. Make a small cut in the end panel stretch hem pocket
and insert the PVC conduit into the pocket.
7. At 24" intervals, notch or cut the pocket to expose the
PVC conduit that is inside the stretch hem pocket.
8. Take one end of the bulk roll of 1" strapping and weave
it around the vertical end wall tube and PVC conduit.
