ASSEMBLE THE END WALL FRAME: NON-DOOR END
Refer to the diagrams in the Quick Start section for the
details and locations of end wall framing.
NOTE:
Tek screws (#FA4482B) are used to fasten the
following connectors: Middle connector (#104643), square
tube fitting with 1-way plate (#104624), and 1.75" x 1.75"
square tube connector (#104075).
Complete the following steps to assemble the framing for
the
non-door end wall
of the shelter:
1. Using the dimensions on the Exploded End Wall
Frame–Back diagram and the
2" x 2" square tubing
,
related hardware, and connectors, assemble one
vertical end wall frame tube.
NOTE:
The above diagram shows how to connect the
2" x 2" square tubing for each vertical frame tube.
2. After the tube is assembled, measure the required
length on the frame and subtract 1-1/2" from this
dimension to account for the length of the 104074
bracket that will be attached to the tube.
3. Using a 5/16" bit, drill a hole in the vertical frame
tube and attach the bracket to the tube.

NOTE:
Position the bracket on the tube so that the Tek
screws used to secure the 2" x 2" tube splice are to the
back (or inside surface) of the tube. This helps prevent
damage to the end panel when it is installed.
4. Slide the tube over the 1.75" x 1.75" ground post and
brace or hold it in place.
5. Move to the upper end of the door frame tube, place
a band clamp on the rafter, and attach the tube to the
band clamp using the proper connectors.
6. Verify that the tube is plumb and in the desired position
and tighten the fasteners. See the above diagrams.
7. Repeat the procedures to assemble and install the
remaining vertical frame tube of the end wall.
8. Install the base rails (1.5" x 1.5") of the non-door end
wall and continue with the installation of the end panel.
