Backup MX
For DynDNS.org service, this feature allows the mail
exchange server to be a backup. To enable the feature,
select Enabled.
Default: Disabled
Wildcard
For DynDNS.org service, this setting enables or disables
wildcards for your host. For example, if your DDNS
address is myplace.dyndns.org and you enable wildcards,
then x.myplace.dyndns.org will work as well (x is the
wildcard). To enable wildcards, select Enabled.
Default: Disabled
E-mail Address
For TZO.com service, the email address for your account.
TZO Key
For TZO.com service, the key for your account.
Domain Name
For TZO.com service, the domain name for your WRP500.
Enabled, Disabled
When this feature is enabled, you can assign a
previously registered MAC address to the WRP500 if
needed to meet the requirements of your service
provider.
MAC Address
The MAC address that you previously registered with
your service provider for this account.
NAT
If the WRP500 is hosting your network’s connection to the
Internet, keep the default,
Enabled
. If another router exists
on your network, select
Disabled
. When the NAT setting is
disabled, dynamic routing will be enabled.
Dynamic Routing (RIP)
This feature enables the WRP500 to automatically adjust
to physical changes in the network’s layout and to
exchange routing tables with the other router(s). The
WRP500 determines the route of the network packets
based on the fewest number of hops between the source
and the destination. When the NAT setting is enabled, the
Dynamic Routing feature is automatically disabled. When
the NAT setting is disabled, this feature is available.
