Data input lines
In the command mode you can issue commands to the MU-2-R from the data input line 1 and data input line 2.
In the text mode, enter a character string to transmit to the data input line and click the “Trans.” button or push the
“Enter” key. In the binary mode, characters entered in the input line are transmitted to the MU-2-R as soon as the
key is released.
In the text mode and binary mode, make the size of data sent at one time less than 255 bytes.
Screen
The screen displays the commands and data sent from the data input lines and displays the command response and
receive response returned from the MU-2-R.
You can copy character strings selected on the screen to the clipboard. However, commands cannot be issued, nor
can data be edited, printed or saved from the screen.
You can check the number of characters displayed on the screen with the “Screen data counter”.
Caution: Note that the screen is cleared automatically if the amount of data reaches 30,000 bytes.
Issuing commands
The data transmission command ‘@DT’ requires data and the size of the data. You can easily make the basic ‘@DT'
command using the transmission data auto assignment panel. Attach the route information to the basic command
with the “Attach to
l
ine1” button on the
Set route information panel. You can also enter the route information
directly.
