3.4 Installing this detector unit

 

Four pieces of the mounting screw holes (M8, 11mm in depth) are provided on the top surface of 
this detector unit. Fix this detector unit to a mounting plate or alternatives with four M8 bolts. The 
external views and mounting dimensions are shown in the following figure.

 

(1)  For the IRMA51

 and IRMA52

, place this detector unit with the distance of 300mm 

from the measuring surface. (This detector unit can be placed from 200 to 400mm.) 

(2) The target spot can be confirmed by the visible light irradiated from this detector unit to the 

measuring surface.   

(3) Prepare a mounting plate in accordance with the conditions at an installation place. Decide the
