Chapter III Panel Description

Section 1 Description of front panel

The front panel of 4992A Radio Test Set front panel is shown in Fig. 3-1.

1 Display Zone

The instrument is equipped with one 7-inch color touch screen. The setting of parameters and

display of a lot of information can be realized by means of touch, thus eliminating the troublesome

steps of soft and hard key menu setting and greatly simplifying the operation.

The display zone can display the following information corresponding to various functions of

the instrument: multiple instrument windows that include settings and measurement data of this

instrument; operating status information; current input data for the input frequency and other

parameters; current operating time of the system; and menu information corresponding to the

current valid operation window. Details are introduced in Fig. 3-2.
