Repair Method
This chapter can help you to find problems and receive after-sales services, including the
explanation of internal error information of the Radio Test Set.
If any problem occurs in operation of 4992A Radio Test Set or you want to purchase relevant
components, options or accessories, we will provide the complete after-sales services.
Generally, problems are caused by the hardware, software or improper use. Once any
problem occurs, contact us promptly. If the Radio Test Set is still within the warranty, we will
provide the maintenance services free of charge according to the commitment in the warranty
sheet. If the warranty is expired, we will only charge the costs.
Section 1 Fault Information Description
Statement:
This part aims to guide you to simply judge and eliminate faults
of 4992A Radio Test Set. If necessary, please report the problem to the
manufacturer as accurate as possible so that we can solve this problem
as soon as possible.
If any problem occurs to 4992A, you can check the instrument according to the following prompts.
If the problem exists, contact us.

If 4992A cannot be started when the Power key is pressed, check whether the power supply is
normal, whether the adapter indicator is ON and whether the power supply battery is normal.
If the above items are normal, the instrument failure may occur. In this case, contact us for
repair.

If the system or application program of 4992A cannot be enabled after start-up, press [Reset]
to make 4992A return into the known status. If this instrument cannot work normally,
