RF Source 1: ON
3) Set the spectrum analyzer as follows.
starting frequency: 0Hz
ending frequency: 1.5GHz
Reference level: 0dBm
4) Measure non-parasitic harmonics by the standard frequency and standard frequency difference
function. Change the output frequency of RF Source 1 into 99MHz, and increase it step by step to
100-999MHz. Observe it with the spectrum analyzer, find the point with the poorest
non-harmonics, and record test results into Table A.6.
5) Change the output port of RF Source 1 of the test instrument into ANT. Repeat the above test,
and record the test result into Table A.6.
6) Close the output of RF Source 1 and perform the following setting.
Port: ANT
RF Source 2 Power: -5dBm
RF Source 2: ON
Set the output frequency of RF Source 2 as 2MHz and 99MHz, and increase it step by step to
100-399MHz.
7) Change the frequency range of the spectrum analyzer into 0Hz to 500MHz. Measure
non-parasitic harmonics by the standard frequency and standard frequency difference function,
observe and find the point with the poorest non-harmonics, and record the test result into Table
A.6.
6. Accuracy of internal amplitude modulation of RF Source 1
a) Test items
The receiver is applied in the following steps to measure the accuracy of linear amplitude
modulation of RF signal source 1.

b) Test block diagram and meters
The same output power range and accuracy test.
c) Test steps
1) Connect the device as shown in the figure, start it, and warm it up for 30min.
2) Connect the power sensor of the measuring receiver to the RF output port (ANT) of the
instrument.
3) Open the RF source window by pressing the [Receiver] hard key or pressing the [Measurement]
hard key and setting the instrument menu. Set it as follows.
Port: ANT
Frequency of RF Source 1: 500MHz
RF Source 1Power: -15dBm
RF Source 1: ON
4) Open the modulation source window, and set it as follows.
Carrier: RF Source 1
Modulation source: internal audio
