2) Open the RF source window of the tested device by pressing the [Measurement] hard key and
setting the instrument menu.
Set it as follows.
Output port: SWR
Frequency of RF Source 1: 500MHz
RF Source 1Power: -10dBm

3) Open the RF meter window of the tested device by pressing the [Measurement] hard key and
setting the instrument menu. Set it as follows.
Port: ANT
Frequency: 500MHz;
Reference: -10dBm
IF bandwidth: 5kHz
Average: OFF
Record the test result of RF frequency error in Table A.14.
4) Change the power of the signal source according to Table A.14. Then change the reference
level of the receiver according to the power of the RF input signal. Record the reading of RF
frequency error in Table A.14.
Record the RF frequency error reading in Table A.14.
5) Set the output of the RF source as follows.
Frequency of RF Source 1: 500.2MHz
RF Source 1Power: -10dBm
6) Keep the frequency setting of RF meter, and change the receiver setting as follows.
IF bandwidth: 600kHz
Reference: -10dBm
Average: ON
Average time: 10
Record the RF frequency error reading in Table A.14.
Repeat Step 4), and record the RF frequency error reading in Table A.14.
7) Set the output of the RF source as follows.
Frequency of RF Source 1: 499.8MHz

Repeat Step 6), and record the RF frequency error reading in Table A.14.
14. Accuracy of received signal strength measurement
a) Test items
The output power of the high-accuracy signal source is applied as the benchmark in the following
steps to verify the accuracy of the received signal strength test of the ANT and T/R test port. The
measurement accuracy of this instrument is
