There are 2 type of Wired Sensors
– Normally Closed Type and Normally Open Type.
They are respectively explained below:
Normally Closed Type
If more than one is to be connected in one Zone then they are connected in Series. Their contact points remain
Closed in ARMED condition. The contact gets Open when the sensor senses intrusion.
Connect all the “Normally Closed Type Wired Sensors” in series and terminate on any of the “NC Type” Zone
wires of the Main Unit.
Any number of Wired Sensors can be connected as long as the total resistance of the Sensors and the wires is
less than 200 Ohms.
Normally Open Type
If more than one is to be connected in one Zone then they are connected in parallel. Their contact points remain
Open in ARMED condition. The contact gets closed when the sensor senses intrusion. Connect all the “Normally
Op
en Type Wired Sensors” in parallel and terminate on any of the “NO Type” Zone wires of the Main Unit.
Note:
Each Zone can be connected to one or more Sensors provided they are same type i.e., They should
either be Normally Closed Type or Normally Open Type. However, different Zones can be used for different type
of Sensors.
Wireless Remote
& Wireless Sensors should be registered in the Main Unit as described under the heading
“Wireless Sensors, Remotes & Panic Keys Registering/Deletion”.
.
Power On Procedure
.
After doing all the connections, remove the Main Unit from its wall bracket.
Switch ON the 220V AC supply to the adapter.
Now hang the main unit back on its wall bracket.
The display show:
“Initialising GSM …..” - In case of any error the display will show “Initialisation Error”
“Initialising BOARD ….”
.
Front Panel LED Indications
.
There are 2 LEDs on the front panel marked as ARMED and READY.
ARMED LED glows in red color and READY in blue color.
Following table illustrates the various conditions:
