on the back of the TA-119.

NOTE:

Disconnection of the AC Adapter from the back of the unit will
cause the TA-119 to erase all recorded messages and greetings.
PLUG
the AC Adapter into an electrical wall
outlet. After eight seconds a beep will be
heard and "PF" will appear in the display. The
TA-119 is now ready to record a greeting.
Install a 9 volt (9V) battery to protect your
greeting, incoming messages and time/day
setting. (See "INSTALLING A 9V BATTERY.")
