Send Buffer Full Notification
CarrierMate™ displays a Send Buffer Full notification when the unit is unable to send
anything back to the server. Send buffer full means the unit was out of coverage or has
stopped communicating and its memory has filled up preventing it from sending messages
back to the server.
•
Inspect and reseat cable connectors.
•
Inspect for corrosion and bent, broken, pushed, slices or missing pins.
•
Ensure the GPRS LED is lit
•
From the CarrierMate™ Home Screen
•
Select
Messages,
then
tap
New Message
•
Tap
Text Message
(or any selection to bring up the keyboard)
•
Enter
DEBUGMODENOW
and press
Clear
,
then
Cancel
•
Press the
Menu
button to get to the Home Screen
•
Tap the
F4
button
•
In DEBUG, tap
Settings
•
Tap
Control
•
Tap
Quit MDT3000
to go to Windows
•
Tap the
My Device
icon in the top left corner to open it.
•
Tap the
Storage
folder to open it.
•
Select
Edit
, and from the drop-down choose
Select All
to highlight all the files.
•
Select
File
and from the drop-down choose
Delete
.
•
Wait for the pop-up message and choose
Yes
,
and then tap
Yes to All
.
•
When the folder is empty, press the
Reset
button the right side panel of the MDT.
