Avvertenze:
• Effettuare tutte le operazioni di installazione e manutenzione a macchina
non alimentata;
• Connessioni seriali: non effettuare connessioni a stella (utilizzare
connessioni a catena, vedi paragrafo “Reti tLAN e Broadcast”).
Connettere lo schermo al morsetto GN;
• Evitare cortocircuiti tra i pin GN e V+ (alimentazione terminale LCD);
• Adottare precauzioni contro le scariche elettrostatiche nel maneggiare le
schede;
• Non connettere il morsetto GN a terra, può danneggiare gli strumenti in
caso di connessione di rete.
3.3.6 Protezione contro le scosse elettriche e avvertenze per la
manutenzione
Attenzione:
Il sistema composto dalla scheda controllo (HYFC0*****) e dalle altre
schede opzionali (HYVC000R0*, HYPA******, HYIR******, HYSC00F0C*,
schede seriali pCO ecc.) costituisce un dispositivo di comando da
incorporare in apparecchiature di tipo classe I o II.
La classe relativa alla protezione contro le scosse elettriche dipende dalla
modalità con cui viene eseguita l’integrazione del dispositivo di comando
nella macchina realizzata dal costruttore.
Togliere l’alimentazione prima di intervenire sulla scheda in fase di
montaggio, manutenzione, sostituzione e confi gurazione. La protezione
contro i cortocircuiti deve essere garantita dal costruttore
dell’apparecchiatura in cui il dispositivo di comando viene integrato o
dall’installatore fi nale.
3.3.7 Reti broadcast

In breve:
• Reti broadcast basic (max 5 slave, max 30 m);
• Reti broadcast extended (fi no a 1 km, max 100 unità) mediante scheda
CANbus;
• Semplice riconfi gurazione da broadcast extended a sistema idronico.
La connessione in rete permette di semplifi care l’utilizzo dell’impianto nel caso
siano presenti più fan coil. Per gli ambienti più piccoli si può utilizzare la tLAN per
realizzare una piccola rete locale (broadcast basic) composta da un master con
un massimo di 5 slave (lunghezza totale massima: 30 m). In questo caso le
informazioni sono propagate solamente in una direzione: dal master agli slave; tutte
le impostazioni del master (che è l’unico dotato di terminale) vengono applicate
agli slave. Impostando il DIP SWITCH 6 del master in posizione ON tutti i fan coil
regolano utilizzando la sonda del terminale, se invece è impostato come OFF ogni
fan coil regola con la propria sonda interna B1.
Esempio di rete broadcast basic
È possibile realizzare reti tLAN anche utilizzando il telecomando come interfaccia
utente, in tal caso è necessario istallare sull’e-drofan master la scheda ricevitore IR e
collegare la resistenza in dotazione tra i pin GN e V+.

Warnings:
• All installation and maintenance operations must be carried out
with the unit off;
• Serial connections: do not make star connections (use chain
connections, see the paragraph “tLAN and Broadcast Networks”).
Connect the shield to terminal GN;
• Avoid short-circuits between pins GN and V+ (LCD terminal power
supply);
• Adopt precautions against electrostatic discharges when handling
the boards;
• Do not earth terminal GN, as this may damage the instruments in
the event of network connection.
3.3.6 Protection against electric shock and maintenance warnings
Important:
The system made up of the control board (HYFC0*****) and the other
optional cards (HYVC000R0*, HYPA******, HYIR******, HYSC00F0C*,
pCO serial cards etc.) represents a control device to be incorporated in
class I or II appliances.
The class of protection against electric shock depends on how the control
device is integrated into the unit built by the manufacturer.
Disconnect the power supply before working on the board during
assembly, maintenance, replacement and confi guration. The protection
against short-circuits must be guaranteed by the manufacturer of the
appliance that the control device in integrated into or by the fi nal installer.
3.3.7 Broadcast networks

In summary:
• Basic broadcast networks (max 5 slaves, max 30 m);
• Extended broadcast networks (up to 1 km, max 100 units) using the
CANbus board;
• Simple reconfi guration from extended broadcast to hydronic system.
The network connection is used to simplify the operation of installations with
multiple fan coils. For smaller environments, the tLAN can be used to create a
small local network (basic broadcast) made up of a master and a maximum of 5
slaves (maximum total length: 30 m). In this case, the information is sent in one
direction only: from the master to the slaves; all the settings on the master (the
only unit fi tted with the terminal) are applied to the slaves. By setting DIPSWITCH 6
on the master to ON, all the fan coils perform the control functions using the probe
on the terminal, while if set to OFF, each fan coil performs the control functions
using its own internal probe B1.
Example of basic broadcast network
tLAN networks can also be created using the remote control as the user interface;
in this case, the e-drofan master must be fi tted with the IR receiver board and the
resistor supplied must be connected between pins GN and V+.
