Cleaning the Coffee Machine

Loose and removable parts can be cleaned in normal dishwashing detergent.

The pivoting filter holder (6) can be removed upwards in the very right
position.

Dry all parts thoroughly before you use them again.

Do not clean the water tank (5) with cloths, tissues or similar objects, because
residues can block the machine.
Decalcifying the Coffee Machine
1. We recommend you to decalcify the coffee machine regularly to obtain
optimal results over a long period of time. You should decalcify the machine
1 - 6 times a year according to the level of water hardness and the frequency
of use.
2. Mix 450 ml of water with a citric-based standard decalcifier. Notice the
recommended mixing ratio and the instructions of the decalcifier.
3. Fill the mixture in the water tank (5) and operate the machine as usual, but
without any coffee.
4. Turn the machine off and wait until it has cooled down.
5. Repeat the decalcifying 1 - 2 times.
6. Afterwards repeat the procedure with clear water two times to flush away all
loosened lime scale residues.
