Tamper/Forced, Door-Held-Open and Alarm-
Shunt Outputs
Each reader port on the CP40 is equipped with three relay outputs for:

Forced Entry

Door Held Open

Alarm Shunt
Each relay provides a dry contact, rated for 2 A @ 30 VDC maximum.
LEDs located near each relay indicate the on/off state of those outputs.
TAMPER/FORCED ENTRY OUTPUT (SHARED OUTPUTS)
Forced Entry
If the door is forced open (door contact open) without either a valid access-
granted or exit-button event, a forced-entry alarm occurs and this output will
be activated. A message will be transmitted to host PC if the panel is online.
NOTE
: If the switch #2 or #5 (at S5 dip switch block) is disabled then there
is no forced entry alarm monitoring at the panel for particular reader/door.
