Programming and transaction are not available for reader “B” on an elevator
configuration.
NOTE : The elevator interface board requires special firmware, depending on
floor configurations (16, 32, 48, and 64).
The elevator control system consists of an elevator interface board and
SIOPT-16 input/output boards.
Common setups include: (see previous image)

up to 16 1
up to 32 2
up to 48 3
up to 64 4
The elevator interface board is connected to the CP40 through the RS-422
(4-wire) communications port.
