MAGSTRIPE READER CONNECTION
To attach a RM500 Magnetic Stripe Reader on Reader A of the CP40:

Place DIP 1 of Dip switch S5 to the ON position (right)

Move micro-shunt jumper on JP35 and JP36 to the 2-3 position (down)
To attach a RM500 Magnetic Stripe Reader on Reader B of the CP40:

Place DIP 4 of Dip switch S5 to the ON position (right)

Move micro-shunt jumper on JP50 and JP51 to the 2-3 position (down)
Press and release the RESET button on the CP40 to accept the changes.

Magstripe Reader on Reader A
Jumper settings to enable
Magstripe Reader on Reader B
Place DIP 1 ON (right) to enable
Magstripe Reader on Reader A
Place DIP 4 ON (right) to enable
Magstripe Reader on Reader B
