Note
Contact respective manufacturers for details on setting the router.
One fixed global address is required if the VB-C50Fi is being used to distribute live videos on the
Internet. An Internet service provider (ISP) that offers a single-address fixed global address service
can be used. In this case, a router with NAT function is required.
Example: In this example, we use the global address 192.168.1.10 assigned by the ISP. We also set
the local address 192.168.100.2 in the VB-C50Fi (and 192.168.100.1 for the router).
Example of Video Distribution Using One Global Address
A sample page of the VB-C50Fi is automatically generated based on the IP address that was actually
assigned (192.168.100.2 in this case). In this case, this page cannot be viewed in the Viewer for Java
or the Viewer for PC when “http://192.168.100.2/sample/” is accessed through the Internet.
Set “Global Address for Web Pages” (
→
P.3-15) to 192.168.1.10. If you are not using the
VB-C50Fi’s Web server, describe the Web pages for distributing videos as follows:
Set the Viewer for Java description
(
→
P.5-7) as follows:
<applet codebase=”http:// 192.168.1.10/-wvdoc-01-/LiveApplet/”
code=”LiveApplet.class” archive=”LiveApplet.zip”
width=450 height=380>
<param name=url value=”http:// 192.168.1.10/”>
<param name=cabbase value=”LiveApplet.cab”>
<param name=controller_style value="no_pantilt">
</applet>
Set the wvh file description of the Viewer for PC
(

P.5-22) as follows:
192.168.1.10 65310
192.168.1.10 65311
