The keypads are made up of two rows of 16 characters The date appears in the first row and
in the second you can decide what to display from the following information:

On/off status of single areas
SYSTEM STATUS
System on/off status: OFF, TOTAL ARMING, PARTIALISED
ENTER CODE
Fixed message ENTER CODE

Lets you activate the printer output for continuous printouts of events on the RS-232
The serial port setting is: Bits per second 9600; Data bits 8; Parity N; Bit stop 1
Example: connect the control unit to the PC with an RS-232 (male-female) direct cable Open a
serial port receiving program (Hyper Terminal for example) and set the COM port and serial port

PRE ENTER TEST ENABLED: when the system is activated and one of the anomalies listed below
is present, you can force arming of the system The failure LED will flash and the anomaly will
be saved in the events memory If this operation is carried out from a reader it will emit a beep
and cancel the arming
Failure messages:

BUS TAMPERING:
if one of the elements connected to the RS485 bus is not communicating;
- BOX TAMPERING
if a control unit or reader tamper goes into alarm mode;

ANOMALY/FAULT:
if one of the inputs defined as FAULTY is open;
- INPUTS TAMPERING:
if an input has been tampered with;
- NO PSTN LINE:
if the line has been activated but is not there;
- NO GSM LINE:
if the line has been activated but is not there;
- POWER OFF:
if there is no grid power;
- BATTERY FAILURE:
if the control unit battery is faulty;
- FUSE FAILURE:
if the fuses are faulty
