Chapter 3: Using WordScan & Window Descriptions

WordScan Window Descriptions

This section provides an overview of WordScan’s Main
window toolbars, status bar, and dialog boxes. Most
buttons also are available as a menu item.

The appearance of the Standard toolbar buttons depends
on the word processing application you selected during
installation (Microsoft Word, WordPerfect, AmiPro, or
WordScan default).

New Job

The

New Job

button allows you start a new job and

provides access to images you can acquire into WordScan.
The

New Job

button provides much of the same

functionality as the

Acquire Image

button; however, the

New Job

button starts a new job, while

Acquire Image

button adds acquired images to the existing job.
