To unlatch the belt:
• Push the button on the buckle.
When you pull the shoulder
portion of a passenger
lap/shoulder belt equipped with a
free-falling latch plate all the way
out, the child restraint locking
feature may engage. The belt can
no longer be pulled out until it is
fully retracted.
Your vehicle is equipped with the
Passenger Sensing System.
Engaging the child restraint
locking feature may turn off the
passenger's frontal air bag. If this
happens unintentionally, let the
belt go back in all the way and
start again.

NOTICE
Before you close the door, make
sure the safety belt is out of the
way. Otherwise, the belt and/or
the vehicle body could be
damaged.
