Removing Cables from the 100BASE-TX Fixed Ports

Removing Cables from the 100BASE-TX Fixed Ports

Complete the following steps to remove 100BASE-TX cables from the module as
shown in Figure 6-2.

Figure 6-2:

100BASE-TX Cable Removal on the Module

Step

Action

Push in on the release tab (1) and remove the connector (2) from the
module’s 100BASE-TX port.

Remove the other end of the cable from the network device (PC or
workstation), if needed.

Repeat steps 1 and 2 for additional 100BASE-TX connectors.
