Removing the MM-100
Complete the following steps to remove an MM-100 from the module (Figure 6-3).

Depending on the type of connectors used on the card, there will be differences in the
way cables are removed. For cable removal information for the modular media
interfaces, refer to the 100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet Modular Media Interface Cards
Installation manual.

Action

Attach one end of the antistatic wrist strap to your wrist and the other
end to the chassis ground.
CAUTION
Static electricity can damage modules and electronic components.
DIGITAL recommends using a grounded antistatic wrist strap and a
grounded work surface when handling any modules.

Disconnect all cables from the card. Refer to the 100 Mb/s Modular
Media Interface Installation manual for removal information.
