Configuring the Module in a DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900

This section describes how to configure the module in a DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900.
The following screen is an example of the

DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900

INSTALLATION MENU

when the DIGITAL MultiSwitch Fast Ethernet Hub 924TX

module is installed in a DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900.

For information about cabling the DIGITAL MultiSwitch 900 setup port, refer to
Chapter 3.

NOTE

Periodically, upgrades to the firmware are released. If you need to upgrade the
firmware of an existing module, use the Downline Upgrade procedures provided
later in this chapter.

To access the module’s setup screen, you must choose option

[9] Start

Redirect Mode

.

Examples of the setup screen displays are provided in this chapter to aid in the
description of the setup port and to display the options that are available. Because they
are examples only as of this publication date, the displays may vary slightly from the
actual screen displays on your setup port device.
