1.
Connect the mains supply line to the input terminals in the switch box (only for control units with direct
connection, see the circuit diagram).
2.
If you want to connect additional control devices or photo eyes, proceed according to the circuit
diagram.
7.1.3 Check of phase direction
It is mandatory to heed the following safety notices:
In the case of direct three phase current connection to the control unit: Ensure that a positive field of rotation
is connected to the input terminals of the control unit.
For control units with a CEE plug: Ensure that a positive field of rotation is connected to the CEE plug.
7.1.4 Inspection of safety devices
Check the function of the safety edge before commissioning as follows, depending on the type of design:
7.1.4.1
Photo eye (for doors with a door for people)
1.
Interrupt the light beam during the closing movement, e.g. by putting an object in the light beam.
2.
If the closing movement stops and the door reverses direction, then the door's photo eye is working
properly.
7.1.4.2
Optoelectronic sensitive edge (for doors without a door for people)
1.
Interrupt the light beam in the rubber profile of the optoelectronic sensitive edge during the closing
movement by lightly pressing on the rubber profile.
2.
If the closing movement stops and the door reverses direction, then the door's optoelectronic sensitive
edge is working properly.
If the door is equipped with an external photo eye or a light curtain for monitoring vehicles driving through it
(optional), then the following function test must be performed:
1.
Interrupt the light beam while it is closing.
2.
The closing movement is stopped and the door immediately opens again.
3.
Now the door system is ready for operation.
Note! Function of the main switch!
After the closing edge is activated, an error message appears in the display that goes away the next time
the door is attempted to be closed.
Warning! Injuries and damage when working on the system!
If the safety edge should not function as described, then the door may not be operated!
