Control and display elements
6.1
Control elements
6.1.1 Definition and placement
Control elements change the functionality of the door system by changing their position or setting. The control
elements are located:
on the front side of the control cabinet
Option: on external control devices (e.g. pull switches, radio-controlled devices, inductive loop, radar
detector, etc.)
The control elements have different functions:
to
open
or
close
the door,
to
stop
the door at any point.
6.1.2 Main switch (dial, optional)

Standard with a control unit without a plug
Design
Red dial on a yellow background with the functions: ON (1), OFF (0) (lockable)
Placement
Standard is on the front of the control cabinet / mains connection box.
Operation
Turn the switch
Function
Isolating device and EMERGENCY OFF control device
Result
Lock into the selected position: all poles of the system are switched to ON or OFF.
6.1.3 Control unit variants
Different control unit variants are employed for specific doors:
Control unit type E800WU contactor control unit (with plug or main switch)
Control unit type E800 F2/F4 frequency converter control
Control unit type TST FU3F
