A

that offers a limited amount of service
when messages are exchanged between
computers in a network. UDP is used as
an alternative to TCP/IP.
UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable:

using wireless devices.
WPA Encryption:
An encryption algorithm
designed to improve on the security of
WEP.
WPA2 Encryption:
An advanced AES-
based encryption algorithm. This is the
latest, best security algorithm currently
available for Buffalo Wi-Fi products.
VPN (Virtual Private Network):
A security
method to connect remote LAN users to a
corporate LAN system.
